A Tribute to a Texas icon

To start this story off right you have to go back a few years, back when new wave music

was at it's peak and the grunge scene was making it's appearance in the music industry.

The year was 1989 and their name was The Hunger.

Like many bands it started with a dream a few friends and an empty pocket. Coming from a family

of musicians I myself have seen the hardships and struggles musicians endure and it's not a pretty site.

The countless hours of composing,writing and practice it takes to make it in this industry is nothing short

of a living hell. So many people take for granite how hard it really is to be a musician in today's industry.

I have seen alot of bands in my life but none compare to the dedication and unconditional love The Hunger

has for it's fans. Next time you go to see your favorite band play see if they will take the time to talk with you

or drink a beer with you! I would be willing to bet that it won't happen.

That's the kind of dedication The Hunger has given it's fans and I don't see it changing anytime in the future.

We the fans would now like to take this opportunity to pay tribute to The Hunger for their inspiration,loyalty

and unconditional love for their fans!!!

After 15 years and 5 albums later The Hunger never fails to bring their fans that raw,unbridled sound

that we have all grown to love and enjoy. Although we have lost a few of it's members along the way we

will never forget them for they all played a role in bringing us happiness.

Here's to another 15 years of greatness guys!!!
